Rachel White - Children & Families Ministr

Children & Families Ministry Coordinator

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel White as our new Children & Families Ministry Co-ordinator, starting 31 Jan and being commissioned 19 Feb. Rachel has a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and has worked at Holy Trinity Brompton as an intern in the Children and Outreach programmes. She has held a variety of roles supervising and working in childcare centres and as a nanny. She has a long association with Alpha as a leader and trainer and some of you know her father, John White, the Alpha Asia Pacific Training Consultant.

Hugh Hodson - Caretaker

Hugh commenced his position at HTT 12th March 2012 as our new Caretaker.

Hugh and his wife Sonia have been members of Holy Trinity for many years and he brings a wide range of skills to the role. Among many of his talents he and Sonia enjoy teaching dance classes so if you feel inspired to pick up your dancing shoes then you will know who to contact!

Paul & Dale Williamson - Vicars

Co Vicars

Paul & Dale have been the co-vicars of Holy Trinity since October 2007. They share the leadership of the parish by taking responsibility for different ministry areas.

Paul has been involved in ministry since 1982, mostly as a vicar. Immediately before coming to Holy Trinity Paul was Vicar of All Saints, Hataitai in Wellington (the airport end of the Mt Victoria tunnel). He has also been heavily involved in leadership of New Wine (formerly Anglican Renewal Ministries) and is chairman of AFFIRM (an Anglican theological forum). Paul has a B.Th (Otago and an M.Phil (Nottingham).

Dale has been in parish ministry since 1990, and served as Archdeacon of Wellington form 1998 - 2007. She has a BA and a B.D (Otago) and in 2008 completed a PhD on the Charismatic Movement in the New Zealand Anglican Church. Dale has also been involved in ARMnz / New Wine ministries having established and led the first Summer Wine camp in the South Island and led two of the North Island Summer Wines.

John Hayward - Lifegroups

There are currently about 20 groups which meet in homes on a regular basis. Lifegroups are the basic unit of organization and pastoral care at HTT

Mark Vevers - Youth Minsitry

Phil Ackerley - Music Director

Phil is our Music Director. Phil and his wife Tracey have 2 daughters, Rachel & Joy.

HTT has a variety of Music played and sung at all services, if you are wanting to experience a traditional service then the 8.00am Sunday service is for you, providing Hymns and Prayer book liturgy. Or how about contemporary modern songs then try our 10.00am Sunday Family Service.

Naomi White - Admin Assistant

Naomi joined HTT in August 2011 as our new Admin Support / Receptionist.

Naomi works hard to make sure our office runs smoothly, staff are well supported and parishioners / clients receive excellent service. Naomi comes to us with a Bachelor of International Communications Degree (BIC).

We welcome Naomi and her husband Andrew to Holy Trinity Tauranga.

Marie Devery - Administrator

Marie has attended HTT for a number of years with her husband John, and her 2 sons, William & Benjamin. She joined the church staff in 2004 as the Parish Administrator. Marie administers just about everything there is to administer - staff, facilities, ministry groups, finances and so on. Fortunately she brings a wonderful sense of humor and colour to a task that could be considered fairly monochrome.
